5’6”…Attended Palomar Junior College and San Diego State University…Was formerly a cook, bookkeeper and assistant administrator at a convalescent home…Instructors have included Ed Oldfield, Diane Keppen and Jim Hardy…Enjoys racquetball, cooking, karate and club making…Is a skilled bowler having won several amateur tournaments…Was eight-under-par during an eight hole stretch at the 1979 Colgate European Open.

Professional: A rash of injuries, which forced Wilkins to miss the 1983 season, were not enough to prevent her from enjoying the best season in 1980. Overcoming the effects of tendonitis in her left arm and torn ligaments in her left ankle, Wilkins earned over $18,500. During the season she posted her career best finish – a T6 at the Kathryn Crosby Honda Civic Classic. She opened her 1982 season wither best finish of that year tying for 10th at the Olympia Gold Classic. Later in the year, Wilkins fired a final round of 67 matching the best total of her career.

Amateur: In 1970, the year prior to turning pro, Wilkins was the runner-up at the Southern California Women’s Publinx and the L.A. City Women’s Championship.
