Career
After the birth of her first child in November, 1986, Mant chose only to play two events in 1987 (the Tsumura Hawaiian Ladies Open and Women’s Kemper Open). Her 1986 playing schedule also was brief because of her pregnancy. The best season of Mant’s 11-year career on Tour was 1981, when $22,511 boosted her to a top-60 position on the money list. Following a mediocre performance in 1982, Mant carded rounds of 72-69-71 at the 1983 Rail Charity Classic to tie for third place, her career-best position, and earned the largest check of her career ($8,000).

Amateur
Mant made Oregon her amateur domain from 1967 through 1970 capturing five titles: the 1967 Oregon Junior Girl’s Championship, the 1968, ‘69 and ‘70 Oregon Amateur and the 1968 Pacific Northwest Amateur. Mant won the 1970 Women’s National Intercollegiate (NCAA).
