Briana Chacon
Chacon was the first rookie of the season to win, taking home the Atlantic Beach Championship in just her third Epson Tour start. The 22-year-old continues the season with solid play, missing only one cut since her victory, but she has yet to notch another top-10 finish. Chacon currently holds the 14th spot in the Race for the Card, setting her up to earn her LPGA Tour card for the first time if she maintains her solid play. A good finish in Guilderland could all but lock up an LPGA Tour Card for the rookie for the 2025 season.
Brooke Matthews
Matthews' journey is a testament to determination and progress. After first earning membership through the 2021 LPGA Qualifying Series, she competed on the LPGA Tour in 2022 for only one season. During her rookie year she recorded a top-10 finish at the 2022 Dow Championship, but eventually lost her LPGA Tour card at the end of the year.
The 25-year-old then played the 2023 season on the Epson Tour, finishing at No. 72 in the Race for the Card. In 2024, Matthews' game continues to trend in the right direction, securing four top-10 finishes so far, leading her to move inside the top 10 on the points list in an effort to regain LPGA Tour membership for the 2025 season.
Kim Kaufman
Kaufman rounds out the first featured group, and like Matthews, Kaufman has spent time on the LPGA Tour during her career. During her time on the LPGA Tour, she amassed 12 top-10 finishes, with a career-best runner-up result at the 2015 Blue Bay LPGA. While competing on the Epson Tour, Kaufman has recorded three wins but has yet to find the winner’s circle since her victory in 2020 at the Four Winds Invitational. The 32-year-old has come close to finding her fourth career Epson Tour in 2024, finishing T2 twice, moving her into the top 10 and back on track to the LPGA Tour.
GROUP TWO | RD1: 2:14 PM ET | RD2: 9:09 AM ET
Kenzie Wright
Wright's third season on the Epson Tour has been a rollercoaster, but her recent form is a cause for hope. Two out of her last four starts have resulted in her two best finishes of the season, including a top-5 result at the Otter Creek Championship. Wright is on the hunt for her first career Epson Tour win and to move inside the top 35 in the Race for the Card to secure her spot in Final Qualifying and the chance to earn her LPGA Tour card for the first time. With her recent performances, there's a sense of optimism about her chances.
Angelica Moresco
Moresco enters the Twin Bridges Championship coming off three straight made cuts and a career-best finish in her last start at the Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship. The Epson Tour sophomore enjoyed a solid rookie season, finishing in the middle of the pack in the standings. Moresco finished her season strong in 2023 and will need to do the same in 2024 if she wants to earn her spot in Final Qualifying, as she sits more than 60 spots outside the top 35.
Bi Shin
Shin, like Moresco, is in her sophomore season on the Epson Tour but only played 10 events on the Official Qualifying Tour of the LPGA in 2023. The 22-year-old spent most of her time on the ANNIKA Women’s All Pro Tour, finishing No. 1 in the Callaway Race to Stage II. In the 10 events played during her rookie season, Shin earned two top-10 finishes and recorded her lowest round on Tour at the Circling Raven Championship, signing for 7-under 65 in the final round. This season has been more of a struggle, but the Republic of Korea native is rounding back into form over her past two starts, cracking the top 10 for the first time this season at the Dream First Bank Charity Classic and a top-25 finish at last week’s Hartford HealthCare Women’s Championship.
