DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2025) — The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is pleased to announce that Mary Salter has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer. A seasoned financial leader with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and nonprofit management, Salter will oversee the LPGA’s global financial operations, including forecasting, reporting, and compliance, while driving the organization’s strategic initiatives and financial performance.

Salter joined the LPGA in 2017 as Controller and has held several leadership roles, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of Finance. Her tenure has been marked by successful management of the organization’s global budget, including its foundation and subsidiaries, as well as the implementation of key strategic projects, such as enhancing financial systems and controls and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Salter’s dedication to the LPGA’s mission and her financial expertise have made a significant impact on the organization.

Salter holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in business administration with a specialization in finance and accounting from Florida A&M University and is a licensed CPA. She began her career at KPMG in the audit practice, focusing on clients in the nonprofit, healthcare, and sports and entertainment industries. Outside of her professional achievements, she is co-founder of the Abracadabra Foundation, a nonprofit that supports and empowers teen girls.

A Florida native, Salter resides in Central Florida with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family and pursuing purpose.
