To say Jeeno Thitikul has been consistent these last six months or so does a disservice to the word.

And, with a tie for second at the HSBC Women's World Championship, Thitikul is eager to continue her march towards some LPGA Tour history.

This was not only Thitikul's fourth top-10 finish in her last four appearances at the HSBC Women's World Championship but also her ninth consecutive top-10 result on the LPGA Tour, dating back to last year.

The longest such streak on the LPGA Tour since 1980 is 16 by Beth Daniel (impressively, all in the same 1980 season) and Karrie Webb (1998-99).

Thitikul's run does not include her victory on the LET earlier in February nor her runner-up result at the Grant Thornton Invitational – both spectacular efforts. But of course, her victory at the CME Group Tour Championship in November put a bow on her impressive 2024.

Through that late-season top-10 run a year ago, Thitikul also had two second place finishes to go along with her win in Naples – at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G and the Maybank Championship. She was also, statistically, the best all-around golfer on Tour. KPMG Performance Insights had her first in strokes gained: total for 2024.

You never know how an off-season will treat a golfer or if they'll come out of the gates slow – maybe there was an equipment change or a life-altering moment off the course through the holiday season – but Thitikul has put any of those worries to rest very quickly through her two LPGA Tour starts in 2025. Although the body of work is small, she's continued to lead the Tour in strokes gained: total. She finished third at the Honda LPGA Thailand last week.

Thitikul admitted that even though she wasn't 100 percent this week in Singapore, she came to Sunday with another excellent result.

"It's more than I expected, to be honest. I knew that like after the second round, I was frustrated a little bit how I played on, like, first round, and also second round. But finishing, like second, tied second, which is really, really nice," Thitikul said.

With a laugh, Thitikul continued praising how bubble tea had given her enough energy over the last 36 holes to push on through. After her LET victory, she said she was drained from all that comes along with lifting a trophy, and then, of course, the heat in Thailand and Singapore didn't help matters.

But she managed to find what worked for her in terms of recovery – and had her best two rounds of the week on Saturday and Sunday.

"Like the weather was so hot, hot, today to be honest, but I feel like more fresher a little bit because I think I have enough rest than last week," Thitikul said.

Thitikul finished at 9-under 279 for the week at Sentosa Golf Club and was tied for second with Ayaka Furue. The duo ended up four shots back of Lydia Ko's winning total.

Ko, the only active player in the LPGA Hall of Fame, won for the 23rd time in her career and moved to No.2 on the LPGA Tour's Career Official Money List.

Ko also knows a thing or two about consistency, as this week marked her 113th official top-10 finish on the LPGA Tour.

Although Thitikul has a ways to go yet to hit that mark in her own career, Thitikul was quick to acknowledge how important it is to be steady, week-in and week-out. If you put yourself in position for success more often than anyone else, good results often follow.

Thitikul, with her even-keeled emotional approach, is looking to continue her consistency – right into the LPGA Tour record books.

"I'm just the type of person, not go like high-high and not go like low-low," Thitikul said. "That's the most important that I really want to keep it because the more really consistent that you are, it's giving you a good chance every week."
