With two rounds to decide which of the 99 players at Final Qualifying will earn LPGA Tour Membership for the 2025 season, Yu Liu maintains her comfortable lead at 14-under after 54 holes. The top 25 and ties after 90 holes will get 2024 LPGA Tour cards, with a cut to the top 65 and ties made at the conclusion of 72 holes.

Liu had an up and down day on the Falls Course at Magnolia Grove, starting her round with three bogeys and a birdie to put her lead in question. Admitting to struggling with the putter, Liu’s bogey total hit five after Saturday’s round, yet she turned it around with three birdies in her last four holes to get herself back to even par on the day.

“The last two days has pretty much been autopilot mode. Like, I didn't really have to think anything. Everything would just fall into place and it's got a nice flow to it,” explained Liu after round three. “But today, I think if anything, I just kind of struggle with my putting just couldn't really get the speed right on the first few holes and I missed a lot of short putts today, which was pretty detrimental.”

One of the biggest movers of the day was 2024 LPGA Tour rookie Gigi Stoll, who began day three at T11 and carded one of the lowest rounds of the day, a 6-under 65, to get to T2 and 10-under overall. Four other players join her in the tie, including a pair of Japanese players in Miyu Yamashita and Chisato Iwai, along with European Tour winners Manon De Roey and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard.

“I think the first round played a little tougher with the conditions, but I felt like my game was in a good spot,” said Stoll. “I just came out firing yesterday, got off to a good start, birdie two of the first three and then same with today. I mean, I felt like my game was trending in the right direction, you know, through the whole bag. Putting really well and playing really well.”

Epson Tour alum Soo Bin Joo, Kate Smith-Stroh and Mariel Galdiano sit in a tie for seventh at 7-under. Joo shot a 66 to propel inside the top-10, as Smith-Stroh and Galdiano look to become LPGA Tour rookies in 2025 by Final Qualifying’s end. Yuri Yoshida, Gurleen Kaur and Alena Sharp round out those tied for 10th or better at 6-under overall, with Sharp’s even-par round highlighted by three birdies on her back-nine holes.

The current threshold for the top 25 and ties is 2-under, with 28 players tied for 24th or better. LPGA Tour winner Azahara Munoz shot a third-round 66 to slide inside the bubble to restore her LPGA Tour card (T20, -3), with the cut to 65 and ties looming.
