Volunteer opportunities also available for area sports fans at Bradenton Country Club

BRADENTON, Fla., Nov. 20, 2024 – Florida golf fans, get ready for the return of the world’s best golfers! On Feb. 6-9, 2025, the LPGA Tour will return to Bradenton Country Club for the 2025 Founders Cup, the first full-field event of what is sure to be an unforgettable LPGA Tour season.

The 2025 Founders Cup will be the second LPGA Tour event hosted at Bradenton Country Club. In 2024, the LPGA Drive On Championship kicked off an incredible season for Bradenton native Nelly Korda. She won the title in a two-hole playoff with fellow superstar Lydia Ko, marking her first victory in more than a year. It also opened the floodgates for one of the most historic seasons in LPGA Tour history, as Korda went on to capture seven total victories, including four consecutive wins, en route to capturing Rolex Player of the Year honors.

This is the 14th edition of the Founders Cup, an event that celebrates the 13 Founding Members of the LPGA Tour, who created the Association in 1950. The list of Founders Cup champions is a who’s-who of the best talent on the LPGA Tour, with past winners including major champions Jin Young Ko,Minjee Lee, Stacy Lewis and Anna Nordqvist. The 2024 playing saw American fan-favorite Rose Zhang capture her second career title after a final-round 66, taking the title by two strokes over Swedish star Madelene Sagstrom.

Tickets are available for purchase at SeatGeek.com. Daily tickets start at $39 for General Admission, with weekly passes starting at $129. Champions Club hospitality tickets are $239 for daily admission and $799 for weekly access. The Champions Club provides premium access to an open-air structure on the ninth green and includes a shared food and beverage services, including bar options, as well as complimentary off-site parking.

Founded in 1924, Bradenton Country Club boasts a classic Donald Ross design, restored in 1999 by Ron Garl and renovated in 2018 by Tony Jacklin. Located on the majestic Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Bradenton Country Club has hosted numerous Florida State Golf Association championships and USGA qualifiers. Among the club’s membership are Hollis Stacy, an 18-time LPGA Tour winner and 2012 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee, and Paul Azinger, a 12-time PGA Tour winner.
