New Zealand’s Lydia Ko captured the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic women’s golf competition, earning her the 27th point necessary for automatic qualification into the LPGA Hall of Fame. The 27-year-old earned 22 of those points with 20 LPGA Tour victories over the course of her career, two of which were major championships – the 2015 Amundi Evian Championship and the 2016 Chevron Championship.

2012 CPKC Women’s Open
Ko became the youngest player ever to win an LPGA Tour event when she defeated Inbee Park by three shots at the 2012 CPKC Women’s Open at 15 years, 4 months and 2 days old. She was the fifth amateur winner in LPGA Tour history and first amateur to win on Tour since 1967.
2013 CPKC Women’s Open
Ko successfully defended her title at the 2013 CPKC Women’s Open, winning by five shots over Karine Icher with a four-day total of 15-under to claim her second LPGA Tour victory as an amateur.
2014 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic
Having turned professional in October 2013, Ko joined the LPGA Tour for her rookie season in 2014, winning her third title at Lake Merced in Daly City, California just three days before her 17th birthday at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic.
2014 Dana Open
Ko defeated U.S. Women’s Open champion So Yeon Ryu at the Dana Open in 2014, winning by one shot at Highland Meadows Golf Club.
2014 CME Group Tour Championship
Now four-time LPGA Tour winner Ko added another accolade to her already impressive resume, becoming the inaugural Race to the CME Globe champion after winning in a playoff over Carlota Ciganda and Julieta Granada at the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. Ko also became the youngest-ever winner of the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award that same year.
2015 ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open
Ko kicked off her banner 2015 season with a 2-shot victory over Amy Yang at the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open. The win came just a couple of weeks after she became the youngest player, male or female, to reach world No. 1 (17 years, 9 months and 9 days) when she ascended to the top of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings on Feb. 2, 2015.
2015 Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic Presented by CTBC
The 17-year-old successfully defended her title for the second time in her LPGA Tour career with her playoff victory over Morgan Pressel at the 2015 Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA.
2015 CPKC Women's Open
It was another playoff victory for Ko at the CPKC Women’s Open as she captured her third win in Canada after winning a one-hole playoff over 13-time LPGA Tour winner Stacy Lewis.
2015 The Amundi Evian Championship
Ko claimed her first major title at the 2015 Amundi Evian Championship, defeating Lexi Thompson by a whopping six shots at Evian Resort Golf Club.
2015 Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA
At 18 years, 6 months and 1 day, Ko’s third consecutive victory at the Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA made her the youngest player in LPGA Tour history to reach 10 victories. She won by nine shots that week over Eun Hee Ji and So Yeon Ryu, a victory that helped her earn Rolex Player of the Year honors at the conclusion of the 2015 season.
2016 JTBC Classic presented by Barbasol
Ko grabbed her first victory of the 2016 season in March, winning by four strokes over Inbee Park at Aviara Golf Club.
2016 The Chevron Championship
It was a well-earned leap into Poppie’s Pond for Ko at the 2016 Chevron Championship. She won by one stroke over In Gee Chun and Charley Hull to earn her second career major title and become the youngest female ever to win two major championships at 18 years, 11 months and 9 days. She is also the second youngest golfer, male or female, to win two majors behind Young Tom Morris, who won the 1869 Open Championship.
2016 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G
Ko picked up her 13th LPGA Tour victory at the 2016 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, defeating Candie Kung and Morgan Pressel by three strokes at Pinnacle Country Club.
2016 Dana Open
Ko earned her fourth title of the 2016 season at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio, emerging victorious from a four-hole playoff with Ariya Jutanugarn and Mirim Lee at the Dana Open.
2018 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship
It was a one-win season for Ko in 2018 as she picked up a victory at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship, winning in another playoff over Minjee Lee.
2021 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei
After going winless in both the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Ko finally broke through at the 2021 LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei, defeating Sei Young Kim, Nelly Korda, Leona Maguire and Inbee Park by seven strokes.
2022 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio
Ko won again the next season on the LPGA Tour, defeating her good friend Danielle Kang by one shot en route to victory at the 2022 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio.
2022 BMW Ladies Championship
It took until October for Ko to win her second title of the 2022 LPGA Tour season at the BMW Ladies Championship. She defeated Andrea Lee by four shots in the Republic of Korea to capture her 18th Tour title at the age of 25.
2022 CME Group Tour Championship
The next month, Ko captured her first CME Group Tour Championship title since 2014 at Tiburón Golf Club, winning by two shots over Leona Maguire. The victory helped Ko sweep all the season-long awards, including the Race to the CME Globe, Rolex Player of Year and Vare Trophy honors.
2024 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions
After a winless 2023, Ko picked up her 20th LPGA Tour victory in the first event of the 2024 LPGA Tour season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, which she won by two shots over Alexa Pano. Ko became the seventh woman in history to win 20 times before the age of 27 and the 29th different player to win at least 20 times on the LPGA Tour.
