Eleven-time LPGA Tour winner Lexi Thompson announced her retirement on Tuesday at the U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally at Lancaster Country Club. The reaction to the 29-year-old’s decision to step away has already been overwhelming, even though she will play the rest of the 2024 season.
