The Olympic Rings traveled to the first LPGA Tour major of the 2024 season, venturing all the way to The Woodlands, Texas for The Chevron Championship.
It was fitting that reigning gold medalist Nelly Korda captured her second major title and fifth consecutive LPGA Tour victory, becoming just the third player in LPGA Tour history to accomplish the feat, as the Rings looked on not too far from the 18th green.
Fans, media and players alike took advantage of photo and video opportunities to celebrate the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics, which are scheduled to begin on July 26. The women’s golf competition will take place at Le Golf National from August 7 to August 10.
Take a look at who stopped by to check out the Olympic Rings at The Chevron Championship:
Lydia Ko, who took home silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics showed off her Olympic Ring tattoo.
Atthaya Thitikul made her first start of the season at The Chevron Championship and is hoping to represent her native Thailand in Paris this year.
Morgan Pressel, Karen Stupples and Tom Abbott stopped by to say how excited they are to be a part of the women’s golf broadcast team at the Paris Olympics.
