This year’s Portland Classic takes place August 1 – 4 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, Oregon.
The LPGA tour’s longest-running non-major tournament, the Portland Classic, returns to the Pacific Northwest August 1st – 4th. This inspirational family-friendly tournament is now in its 53nd year. As players from all corners of the world enter the final stretch of the Race to the CME Globe, Portland’s supportive fanbase is in for a treat!
‘We're so happy that the Portland Classic will be back for year 53!” Says Portland Classic Tournament Director, Rick McCloskey. “This community event continues to grow in importance as it reflects our support here of women empowerment and females in sports. We are excited that once again, we will have a Family Fun Zone going on during the event and that we will also be having many activities on Saturday, August 2 in support of Girls in Sports. So, bring your entire family for some fun while watching the best golfers in the world.”
Fans will enjoy:
- Umpqua Family Fun Zone - Kids and adults of all ages will have a blast playing games by Discover Golf and enjoying complimentary snow cones.
- Food Trucks - Spectators will savor food and beverages at the all-local, best-of-Portland food trucks.
- Les Schwab’s Junior Tournament - For girls ages 7-18 will take place on Saturday, August 3rd. This one-day tournament is held at Columbia Edgewater’s Par 3 course.
- Beer Gardens – There will be two beer gardens at the course so spectators can grab a refreshment while they walk the course and encourage the player
Ticket sales begin at only $15 plus fees with special free admittance opportunities for active military members and veterans, Regence members and AAA members (on AAA Day, Thursday, August 4) and kids under 17 are also free.
