The 2024 LPGA Drive On Championship has officially come to a close. Bradenton native and 2016 Epson Tour graduate Nelly Korda took home her ninth LPGA Tour victory in exciting fashion, winning in a playoff over Lydia Ko, who was looking to earn back-to-back victories and a place in the LPGA Hall of Fame. Korda had a scrappy final round, not making a birdie or better until her 17th hole of the day, which she eagled to get within one of the lead. Korda then birdied the 18th to force a playoff, eventually winning over Ko with a par on the second extra hole.
The success of the 2023 Epson Tour graduates took a small step back as all three who made the cut shot over par in the final round. Auston Kim did manage to collect her first ever top-10 finish on the LPGA Tour though, kicking off her rookie season on the right foot. Three straight bogeys on the back nine moved Kim out of the hunt after making the turn at 1-under, but the 23-year-old has plenty of positives to take away from her first start as a LPGA Tour rookie.
Check out where all of the 2023 Epson Tour graduates who made the cut finished after the final round at the LPGA Drive On Championship:
Auston Kim (-6, T6)
Isabella Fierro (+1, T32)
