Recently, a group of top Australian amateurs and young professionals got a surprise as part of the Players Series, developmental sessions produced and conducted by the PGA of Australia. The players had the opportunity to meet virtually with two LPGA Tour major champions: American Danielle Kang, winner of the 2017 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and Australian Hannah Green, who captured the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2019.

In the 40-minute session, the young players asked Kang and Green about how they prepare for major championships, how they remain positive during slumps, and how they build off the momentum of big wins, among many topics.

Everyone involved seemed thrilled with the engagement. Kang even told the young people that she was “always around” if they needed anything.
