Korean stars Sei Young Kim and Chella Choi to faceoff against American sisters Jessica Korda and Nelly Korda in a GOLFZON simulator match
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., July 17, 2020 - The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced today an on-going partnership with GOLFZON, a leading golf simulator company, through its second international golf simulator competition, the GOLFZON LPGA Skins Challenge. The event, which will take place on July 20 at 7:30 a.m. EDT, will feature LPGA champions Sei Young Kim and Chella Choi and sisters Jessica and Nelly Korda, competing in real time on opposite sides of the globe.
Kim and Choi will compete at GOLFZON’s ZOIMARU in Daejeon, Republic of Korea, while the Kordas will be based at GOLFZON’s Popstroke in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. The winners of the 36-hole Skins Challenge will receive $50,000, which will be donated to their charity of their choice.
The event will be held without a gallery to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and with minimal access to the venues other than athletes and officials. The competition will be live streamed on GOLFZON’s official YouTube channel and Naver TV Live and will also air later this year in the United States.

In May, fans from all over the world tuned in to watch the first GOLFZON and LPGA event, the GOLFZON LPGA Match Play Challenge. Korean major winners Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu competed against New Zealand’s Lydia Ko and Sweden’s Pernilla Lindberg, with all proceeds going to COVID-19 relief efforts.
