Lizette Salas joined Richard Kaufman on his podcast, The Round Golf Podcast, to talk about her early golf career and evolution in the sport. She focused on how golf had, in some ways, saved her life, as the LPGA has shown her a life that neither herself nor any of her family members could have foreseen. She lays out for the audience what her life was like, and how divergent of a path some of her high school friends have walked.
LPGA.com’s own Amy Rogers produced a video feature of Salas back in September as well, featuring her speech she gave at her USC graduation. It highlights the relationship and sacrifice of her parents, helping her rise to the LPGA player she is today.
