11:35 a.m. – Beach Course
Kylie Henry, a member of the Ladies European Tour, managed to match one of the low rounds of the day with a 69 during the third round of the ISPS Handa Vic Open. Saturday, Henry recorded her first sub-par round of the week to give herself a fighting chance on Sunday as she begins the final round 7-back of the lead. She’s grouped with first round leader Felicity Johnson and Katherine Kirk, who are 6-back heading into Sunday. Johnson endured a rollercoaster round on Saturday with one eagle, one birdie and five bogeys en route to a round of 74. Kirk, who began moving day 6-back of the lead, made up some ground on a difficult day and avoided making a big number by shooting 73 on Saturday.
Jodi Ewart Shadoff (-4), Mirim Lee (-4), Haru Nomura (-7)
11:59 a.m. – Beach Course
Jodi Ewart Shadoff managed the windy conditions with an impressive round of Even par and now sits 6-strokes back of the lead heading into Sunday’s final round. She’ll play alongside Mirim Lee and Haru Nomura. Lee made one of the biggest moves up the leaderboard with four birdies on the back nine to shoot 69. Lee began the day 12-back of the lead at T53 and ended her round just 4-back of the lead at T5. Nomura, who began the third round T2, and just two-back of the lead, struggled to a 4-over par, 76 in Saturday’s conditions. The round comes as a surprise for Nomura, who has twice won on windy venues at the 2016 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open and the former Swinging Skirts event held in San Francisco. Despite her over-par round, she still remains just 3-back of the lead with a solid chance on Sunday.
Su Oh (-8), Celine Boutier (-8), Kim Kaufman (-10)
12:23 p.m. - Beach Course
Su Oh will need to manage the expectations of a nation as she tries to break through for her first win on Tour, on home soil. Oh begins the final round 2-back of the lead following a third round, 74. The Aussie’s best finish on Tour is a runner-up finish at the 2016 Kingsmill Championship. During Sunday’s final round she’s grouped with Celine Boutier, who is also 2-back, and leader Kim Kaufman. Boutier matched the low round of the day with a 69 to jump from T12 at 5-under par into a share of second and within striking distance of the lead. Boutier has played well in windy conditions like those she faced on Saturday, she recorded her best finish on Tour at the 2018 Blue Bay LPGA, one of the windiest stops on Tour. She finished third. Kaufman, the overnight leader, recorded four bogeys, one double bogey and three birdies en route to a round of 75 that left her right back where she began the day – two-strokes ahead of the pack. Kaufman, Boutier and Oh will each be chasing their first win on Tour on Sunday.
