For Team USA, all LPGA events will have points until the CP Women’s Open, which plays in late August. Positions 1-20 in events get points. Angel Yin’s Sunday charge to finish T2 jumped her into position for a Rolex Women’s World Ranking selection, as she sits in 27th overall and a 2.83 average. It’s the highest average of anyone not in on Team USA Solheim Cup points, as she trails Megan Khang by 2.5 points for the 8th and final spot.
Lexi Thompson (427) with her performance took over the top spot points, with Nelly Korda (398) sitting in second place.
Team Europe
For team Europe, points began for LET events immediately after the 2017 Solheim Cup, and end at the conclusion of the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open from August 8th-11th of this year.
