In her second announced withdrawal this year, Michelle Wie announced she will not be playing in the HUGEL AIR-PREMIA LA Open.
On March 1st, Wie posted on social media that due to pain in her wrist, she was shutting down indefinitely until it felt better.
Wie returned to action at the ANA Inspiration a little over a month later. After a late charge in her first round to position herself inside the cut line, she went on to miss the cut.
Wie also missed the cut at the LOTTE Championship last week. She met with her doctors, and decided to focus on her health until she is pain free.
The five-time career winner has not placed any time table for her return.
