Brittany Lincicome, Lydia Ko, Angela Stanford

7:44 a.m. – 1^st Tee

Brittany Lincicome and Lydia Ko, two winners already in 2018, are grouped with Texas’ own Angela Stanford during Thursday and Friday’s rounds. Lincicome won the season opening event in the Bahamas but has struggled in recent weeks with a missed cut at the ANA Inspiration and a T42 finish in her last start in Los Angeles. She’s looking to turn things around this week in Texas where she’s teeing it up for just the third time. Ko, on the other hand, is coming in with plenty of momentum, fresh off a win last week at Lake Merced Golf Club where she won for the third time in her career. The win was a turning point for Ko who hadn’t won since 2016 after going through a series of changes to her game over the last 18 months. She’s making her third start in Texas where she was forced to withdraw last season due to an eye infection.

Stanford is a host of sorts this week as a native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, who also played collegiate golf at TCU. Monday, she hosted her annual charity tournament, where 21 of her fellow pros joined her to raise money for families affected by cancer. Stanford is making her sixth start in Texas where she’s riding high on the adrenaline of being back home.

Katherine Kirk, Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee

12:44 p.m. – 10^th Tee

Katherine Kirk arrives in Texas well rested after skipping last week’s event in California. The Aussie makes her sixth start this week in Texas not far from her adopted home in Wichita. She’s looking to pick up her second top 10 of 2018 after finishing a season best fourth in Australia in February. She will play the opening rounds alongside Brooke Henderson and Minjee Lee. With wind and rain in the forecast this weekend, Henderson should feel right at home. The Canadian’s last two wins came on windy venues in New Zealand and Hawaii. Lee is trending towards her first win of the season with five top 10s to start the year including a runner-up finish last week in California.

Moriya Jutanugarn, Aditi Ashok, In Gee Chun

12:55 p.m. – 10^th Tee

Moriya Jutanugarn has been on a hot streak over the last four weeks. The Thai finished inside the top 11 in her last four starts, including winning for the first time on Tour in L.A. She’s making her sixth start in Texas. She’ll play the opening rounds alongside Aditi Ashok and In Gee Chun. Ashok is coming off her best finish of the year and has she’s been trending upwards since missing the cut at the ANA Inspiration. Since then, Ashok finished T44, T19 and T7 last week in the Bay Area. This week, she is making her first start in Texas. Chun is making her first start in nearly month after withdrawing from the LOTTE Championship in Hawaii due to illness.

Mo Martin, Cristie Kerr, Stacy Lewis

1:06 p.m. – 10^th Tee

This week, Stacy Lewis returns home to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area for her fifth event of 2018. In her six starts in Texas she’s consistently played well, with a victory in 2014 and three more top 10s. She will play the first two rounds with fellow major champions Cristie Kerr and Mo Martin. Kerr is another player who plays well in Texas, she’s never finished worse than a tie for 11^th in the Lone Star State, including a runner-up finish last year when she lost in a playoff to Haru Nomura. Martin, a Ricoh Women’s British Open champion, knows what it takes to play well in the wind and could fare well this week in Texas where she’s teeing it up for the sixth time.
