The Epson Tour tees it up this week for the Fuccillo Kia Classic of NY; four featured groups highlight the 144-player field that will compete for a $125,000 purse from July 27-29 at Capital Hills at Albany.

Dottie Ardina, Vicky Hurst, Karen Chung
8:25 a.m. – 1st Tee
Dottie Ardina has yet to win on the Epson Tour, but has three runner-up finishes in eight starts and sits atop the Volvik Race for the Card standings with nearly $60,000 in earnings. Ardina is grouped with Vicky Hurst and Karen Chung in the opening rounds.
Look for Hurst to have a good showing this week in Albany having never finished outside the top 10 when she’s teed it up at Capital Hills at Albany; don’t count her out on picking up her second win in 2018.
Chung makes her first start in Albany after coming off T-41 finish at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic. In twelve starts this season the second-year member has posted three top 10 results.

Kristy McPherson, Dana Finkelstein, Jenny Coleman
1:14 p.m. – 10th Tee
Kristy McPherson is playing alongside Dana Finkelstein and Jenny Colemen during the opening rounds of the Fuccillo Kia Classic of NY. McPherson has yet win on the Epson Tour this season but has amassed five top 16 finishes in eight starts which has her sitting at No. 14 in the Volvik Race for the Card standings.
This week Finkelstein is making her second start in Albany where she looks to improve on her T-4 finish in 2016. In eight starts this season Finkelstein has posted five top 20 results.
Coleman makes just her second start in Fuccillo Kia Classic after coming off a T-7 finish at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic. The fourth-year member currently sits No. 21 in the Volvik Race for the Card standings and is on the move with her consistent performance this season; posting fourth top 10s in twelve starts.

Janie Jackson, Lakareber Abe, Cheyenne Knight

Jackson makes just her second start in this event this year after coming off a T-47 at last week’s Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic. She is grouped with rookies Lakareber Abe and Cheyenne Knight in the opening rounds of the Fuccillo Kia Classic of NY.
Abe is coming off a season-high finish at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic where she finished T-11 in only her sixth start of the season. Knight opened her professional golf career at the Four Winds Invitational and has made the cut in all six of her starts, with a season-best T-8 at the Prasco Charity Championship. Knight looks to continue her rise with a strong performance this week at Capital Hills at Albany.

August Kim is playing alongside Eun Jeong Seong and Stephanie Meadow during the opening rounds of the Fuccillo Kia Classic of NY. Kim makes her first start in Albany after coming off a T-5 finish at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic, her third top 10 result of the season.
Seong will make her first start in Albany and plays with a bit more confidence after picking up her first professional win at last week’s Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic; she jumped twenty spots on the money list to move inside the top 10 to No. 6 in the Volvik Race for the Card standings.
Meadow is coming off a runner-up finish at the Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic, where she carded a final round 1-under-par, 71 to force a playoff with Seong. Meadow, already a winner in 2018 after winning the IOA Championship, has posted six additional top 10 results and currently sits second in the Volvik Race for the Card standings.
