Austin Ernst, Juli Inkster, Pornanong Phatlum

Group 11 - 8:10 a.m. – First Tee

Austin Ernst will be joined by Solheim Cup captain Juli Inkster and Pornanong Phatlum on days one and two of the LPGA Volvik Championship. Ernst who is looking to make the Team USA Solheim Cup roster will be looking to impress Inkster with another top 10 this year at this week’s event in Michigan. LPGA Tour veteran will make her first start at the LPGA Volvik Championship. Phatlum rounds out this group, she posted a T-27 in last year’s inaugural event.

Ariya Jutanugarn, Michelle Wie, So Yeon Ryu

Group 14 - 8:21 a.m. – 10th Tee

Defending champion, Ariya Jutanugarn, is playing alongside major champions Michelle Wie and So Yeon Ryu during the opening round of the LPGA Volvik Championship. Wie, who amassed three top 10s so far this season, is looking to pick up her first win since winning the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open. Ryu continues to play consistent golf in 2017; she has eight top 10s in eight starts including a win at the ANA Inspiration.

Katherine Kirk, Christina Kim, Demi Runas

Group 17 - 8:43 a.m. – First Tee

Katherine Kirk will play alongside Christina Kim and Demi Runas in the opening rounds of the LPGA Volvik Championship. Kirk is making her second start in Ann Arbor where she finished T-43 in the inaugural event. Kim posted a runner-up finish in this event last year, one of her best finishes since winning the 2014 Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex in 2014. Runas makes her second start in this event this year, having missed the cut in the inaugural year.

Stacy Lewis, Anna Nordqvist, In Gee Chun

Group 35 - 1:10 p.m – First Tee

Eleven-time winner, Stacy Lewis, is looking to step inside the winner’s circle for the first time since 2014. She has three top 10s this season and is making her first start at the LPGA Volvik Championship. She will play alongside Anna Nordqvist and In Gee Chun in the opening rounds. Nordqvist, already a winner this year at the Bank of Hope Founders Cup, is making her first start at the LPGA Volvik Championship. Chun is coming off a runner-up finish at the Kingsmill Championship, where she carded a final round 4-under par, 67. She finished T-11 at the LPGA Volvik Championship in 2016.

Lexi Thompson, Charley Hull, Minjee Lee

Group 37 - 1:21 p.m. – First Tee

This week, Lexi Thompson makes her second start at the LPGA Volvik Championship, where she finished T-6 in the inaugural event. Thompson, who picked up her first victory of 2017 at last week’s Kingsmill Championship, will play alongside Charley Hull and Minjee Lee. Hull will be well rested, having taken off last week. She finished T-20 in the inaugural event. Lee is looking to step inside the winner’s circle for the first time in 2017; she has two top 5 finishes in her last four starts.
