Lexi Thompson comes into the 2017 Solheim Cup off the back of a stellar season on the LPGA Tour, including one victory and five more runner-up finishes. Thompson will be looking to carry on her unbeaten record from 2015, where she picked up two wins and two halves as Team USA staged the biggest comeback in Solheim Cup history.

Her partnership with Lewis was also impressive. The pair beat Anna Nordqvist and Caroline Hedwall 5&4 in the Saturday morning foursomes, and defeated Caroline Masson and Hedwall 1up in the Saturday afternoon four-balls.
Cristie Kerr is another 2017 LPGA Tour winner representing Team USA. The veteran has been ever present for the United States, since 2002, and has an outstanding record in the fourballs. Paula Creamer was given a Solheim Cup lifeline after Jessica Korda withdrew from the team due to injury, giving Juli Inkster an alternative pick.
