As the LPGA Tour season gets underway this week with the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic look for some shake up in the UL International Crown standings. The Republic of Korea has a firm hold on the No. 1 position with the United States sitting comfortably in the No. 2 spot. The Spaniards, having been bumped to the No. 10 position, will need to make a move in the coming weeks to defend their inaugural UL International Crown title and be among the top eight teams to compete in the July 19-24 event.
China has continued to climb in the standings and currently sits in the No. 9 position, with Shanshan Feng the highest ranked player at sixth for their team.
England is making a move in the top-8 moving from the 8th to 6th place in the standing while Australia has moved from the 6th to 8th position. With only the top four from each team qualifying to represent their country we've only seen some movement on or off a team in the recent standings.
For No.7 ranked Thailand, Onnarian Sattayabanphot has dropped in the standings, falling out of the top-4 and now into fifth as Thidapa Suwannapura has moved ahead in the standings.
Look for some movement after a weekend in Paradise Island.
