Teams are taking shape for the second playing of the UL International Crown and with only a few weeks until the eight teams are decided the Republic of Korea continues to hold the top spot in the standings with the United States in a close second.
Pornanong Phatlum and Ariya Jutanugarn moved up in the Women's World Golf Rankings with their outstanding play at the HSBC Women's Champions moving Thailand into the sixth position in the Team Standings.
Also seeing some movement is the Republic of Korea. With Ha Na Jang's win at last week's HSBC Women's Champions, Jang moved up five spots in the rankings moving her into the second position in Team Korea's standings. Amy Yang moved into the third position with her solo third finish in Singapore, and Sei Young Kim moved into the fourth spot on the team bumping In Gee Chun into one of the bubble spots.
The eight competing countries will be finalized by the combined rankings of the top four players from each country as of April 4. Countries must have a minimum of four ranked players to be eligible. Even though the countries are determined at that time, the final field of 32 players won’t be named until the rankings of June 13.
