With two events in the books, we've seen a bit of a movement on the bubble as teams continue to take shape for this year's UL International Crown. The Republic of Korea team continues to have a firm hold on the No. 1 position with the United States sitting comfortably in the No. 2 spot.
Simin Feng made the biggest leap in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings moving up 268 spots after finishing tied for sixth in last week's COATES Golf Championship Presented by R+L CARRIERS. Feng also jumped into sixth in the standings for Team China following her strong finish. With only the top-four players in the Rolex Rankings from each country qualifying for a team every event counts. Her move bumps fellow countryman Yueer Cindy Feng out of the sixth position in the team’s standings.
England continues to make a move in the top-8 moving from the 6th position to 5th place in the standing only one point ahead of Sweden.
Also seeing some movement on the bubble are Teams Republic of Korea and Australia. Republic of Korea’s Ha Na Jang moved into the fifth position with her win at the COATES Golf Championship Presented by R+L CARRIERS bumping In Gee Chun to sixth and moving Amy Yang out of the sixth position. Australia’s Su-Hyun Oh and Sarah Jane Smith swapped spots in the fourth and fifth in the latest standings.
