RACE TO THE CME GLOBE UPDATE
Lydia Ko, the only player to win the Race to the CME Globe, is in position to take home the $1,000,000 prize for a third straight season. Ko set a tournament course record with a 2nd round 62 and vaulted 16 spots up the leaderboard to take the 36-hole lead and with a win would also take home this year's Race to the CME Globe trophy. Ko is in familiar territory, back in 2014 she entered the season ending event in 3rd place in the Race to the CME Globe standings and proceeded to win the CME Group Tour Championship, securing the inaugural Race to the CME Globe $1,000,000 prize.
