LPGA returns to Tokyo area for the first time since 1991
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., JANUARY 22, 2016 - The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) today announced that the 2016 TOTO JAPAN CLASSIC, which runs Nov. 4-6, will be taking place at the Taiheiyo Club Minori Course just outside of Tokyo.
The TOTO JAPAN CLASSIC, which matches the LPGA’s best against members of the JLPGA, stands as one of the longest running events on Tour and is entering its 43rd edition in 2016.
Since 1973 some of the LPGA’s best have won in the Land of the Rising Sun including Hall of Famers Amy Alcott, Pat Bradley, Nancy Lopez, Patty Sheehan, Annika Sorenstam and Karrie Webb.
