Sei Young Kim, Jane Park, Haru Nomura
Group 19 – 1st Tee - 9:43 a.m.
Sei Young Kim, Jane Park and Haru Nomura will need to go low on Sunday to have a chance at catching 54-hole leader In Gee Chun. Kim is a two-time winner in 2016 in search of her first major victory. She carded four straight birdies on her inward nine on Saturday to finish at eight-under par, 11-strokes back of Chun. Park also finished strong in round three with an eagle and two birdies in her final four holes to finish at seven-under par. Nomura is also at seven-under par. She’s a two-time winner in 2016 looking to post her best major finish of 2016.
So Yeon Ryu, In-Kyung Kim, Angela Stanford
Group 21 – 1st Tee – 9:54 a.m.
Major champion So Yeon Ryu, In-Kyung Kim and Angela Stanford are grouped together in Sunday’s final round. Ryu has seven top-10 finishes so far in 2016 and is looking to return to the winner’s circle for the first time since 2014. Kim is coming off a win last week on the LET and is looking to pick up her first win on the LPGA since 2010. Stanford is also looking to pick up a win, her last victory coming in 2012. Ryu enters the final round at 12-under par, seven-strokes back of Chun. Kim is at 10-under par and Stanford at nine-under par.
In Gee Chun, Sung Hyun Park, Shanshan Feng
Group 23 – 1st Tee – 10:05 a.m.
36 and 54-hole leader In Gee Chun is grouped with her playing partners from round three again on Sunday, playing alongside Sung Hyun Park and Shanshan Feng. Chun is chasing her second major title on the LPGA Tour and with a win on Sunday would become just the second player in LPGA Tour history to make both of her first victories major champions. Fellow Korean Se Ri Pak is the only other player to accomplish the feat. The KLPGA’s Park is Chun’s nearest competitor, heading into the final round at 15-under par, four-strokes back of Chun. A victory on Sunday would be just one of the latest for Park who is already a seven-time winner this season on the KLPGA where she leads the money list. Feng is the final member of this group and a four-time member on the LPGA Tour looking to win her first event since 2014. She’s six-strokes back of Chun entering Sunday’s final round.
