Anna Nordqvist is chasing her second major title this week. The 2009 KPMG Women’s PGA Champion is already a winner this season on Tour after successfully defending her title at the ShopRite LPGA Classic in June. Nordqvist is second in the field this week in G.I.R. and became the first in the history of the U.S. Women’s Open to hit every green in regulation on Thursday. She made just her fourth cut in eight starts in this event this week at CordeValle. Nordqvist will play alongside Minjee lee and Gerina Piller on Saturday. Minjee Lee is a two-time winner on the LPGA Tour looking to win her first major championship. She missed the cut in this championship last year after finishing 22nd in 2014. Piller is in search of her first win on Tour and looking to finish in the top-10 at the U.S. Women’s Open for the first time in her five starts.
This group begins the third round at two-under par, six strokes back of the lead.
Lydia Ko, Haru Nomura, Danielle Kang

World No. Lydia Ko, Haru Nomura and Danielle Kang will be grouped together on Moving Day. Ko is looking to post her first top-10 finish in the U.S. Women’s Open, her previous best coming in 2015 when she finished in a share of 12th. Nomura is a two-time winner in 2016 and in the hunt for her first major title. She’s tied for third for the week in G.I.R. Kang is a two time U.S. Women’s Amateur Champion, who won in back to back years in 2010 and 2011. She’s making her seventh appearance this week.
Ko and Nomura begin the round at five-under par, three back of the lead. Kang is at four-under par to begin her third round.
Sung Hyun Park, Amy Yang, Mirim Lee

Sung Hyun Park, Amy Yang and Mirim Lee are grouped together in the final round on Saturday. Park carded one of the low rounds of the day on Friday with a 66 to take the outright lead heading into the weekend in what is her first appearance at the U.S. Women’s Open. Should she win on Sunday, Park would become just the fifth player in the history of the championship to win in their first start. Yang, however is no stranger to this event, twice finishing runner-up and two-times holding the 54-hole lead. Lee makes just her second appearance in this championship this week after finishing T-47 in 2015 at Lancaster Country Club. She leads the field in birdies this week with 14.
Park holds a one-stroke lead at eight-under par entering the third round. Yang and Lee trail by two-strokes at six-under par.
