Karrie Webb
Coming off a third place finish in her 2016 season debut, Karrie Webb will be one to watch this week at the Honda LPGA Thailand. The veteran posted a T-11 finish in this event last year, in addition to four top-10’s in seven starts.
Stacy Lewis
With four top-5 finishes in her last four appearances in Thailand, Stacy Lewis will be one to keep an eye on this week. She posted her first of six runner-up finishes of 2015 in this event last year and has continued her consistent play in 2016, finishing T-2 at the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic followed by a T-22 at the Coates Golf Championship.
Yani Tseng
A two-time winner of this event in 2011 and 2012, former world No.1 Yani Tseng is looking to return to the winner’s circle in this event where she finished runner-up last year.
Sei Young Kim
Currently ranked second in scoring average and driving distance, Sei Young Kim has continued the great play she displayed last season, which earned her Rookie of the Year honors. Kim hasn’t finished outside the top-3 in her first two starts on Tour in 2016 and finished in a share of fifth in Thailand last year.
Suzann Pettersen
The 2007 winner in Thailand, Suzann Pettersen has finished in the top-10 the past two years. She’ll be well rested coming into this event, making just her second start of the season, hoping to build on her T-6 finish at the Coates Golf Championship.
Charley Hull
A second year member of the LPGA Tour, Charley Hull hasn’t finished outside the top-25 in her first three events of 2016, posting two top-8 finishes in the Bahamas and Australia. Hull will make her first start in Thailand this week.
Ha Na Jang
The winner of the 2016 Coates Golf Championship, Ha Na Jang has finished no worse than tied for 11th since the start of the 2016 season. She is currently fourth in scoring average on tour at 69.667. She will make her first start in Thailand this week.
Anna Nordqvist
2014 Honda LPGA Champion, Anna Nordqvist got off to a strong start this season, finishing T-2 at the season opening Coates Golf Championship and has twice finished in the top-20 in Thailand, including a T-13 finish last year.
Haru Nomura
Winner last week at the ISPS Handa Women’s Australia Open, Haru Nomura earned a place in the field this week. Nomura finished T-13 in this event last year, which included a final round 8-under par, 64. She hasn’t finished outside the top-13 in her three starts to 2016.
Amy Yang
Defending champion Amy Yang likes playing in Thailand. In addition to her victory in 2015, Yang has four top-12 finishes in this event.
