Wichanee Meechai |
Scott MacLeod, Associate Publisher, Flagstick Golf Magazine Follow Him: @Flagstick This rookie has been surging on late with two top ten finishes in her last two starts. In just five events she have moved into third place in the Volvik Race for the Card. She may not be the longest on tour but her accuracy is impressive and it should help her immensely in Albany. |

Emma Talley |
Beth Ann Nichols, Senior Golf Writer, Golfweek Follow Her: @GolfweekNichols Why not? Talley, making her professional debut this week, has plenty of pro experience under her belt. The NCAA/U.S. Women's champ is ready for the next level. With her Epson Tour status secure thanks to Q-School, she's ready to rock. Roll Tide. |

Jackie Stoelting |
Kelly O'Donnell, sports anchor at WRGB Follow Him: @CBS6Sports Floridian Jackie Stoelting missed growing up in Albany, NY by a generation. Her parents were born and raised in New York’s Capital Region – and both mom and dad will be on the course with Stoelting this week (dad from inside the ropes). Not only will Stoelting have a boost in moral support, but she also comes into the Fuccillo Kia Championship in form. The LPGA veteran finished T13 last week – her best result of the season to date. So expect Stoelting to be in the hunt this weekend at her kind of, but not really hometown tournament. |

Shannon Fish |
Dave Andrews, Womensgolf.com (WomensGolf.com) Follow them: @womensgolfcom I am going with Shannon Fish this week at the tour's stop in Albany. The 5th year player, who played her college golf at the University of Texas, has improved her game significantly this season. She currently sits in 14th place on the money list. She had the low round of the day (68) on Sunday in Brockton and she has made the cut in each of her 8 starts with one top-5 finish. Her accuracy off the tee will be an advantage on the many narrow fairways at Capital Hills. |
