Jennifer Meyer is the Manager of Digital Operations. She has worked with the LPGA for more than a decade, working with the LPGA to manage, develop, maintain, and update website content.

Paula Creamer spent Monday visiting the U.S.S. George H. W. Bush and giving a free golf clinic to dozens of military kids who participate in “The First Tee,” a youth organization that promotes life skills and leadership through golf.  While onboard, she was treated to a ride on a Landing Craft Air Cushion and had the opportunity to make a successful landing in a helicopter simulator.

“I got to fly a simulator, go on a hovercraft and being on George H.W. Bush was just awesome,” said Creamer.  “Pretty surreal when you're standing out there, that thing is huge and pictures definitely do not do it justice.”

Creamer said of the experience, “It was awesome just being able to meet with all the sailors.  I always try to take time to meet up with the military. I have so much respect for them.  They look at me and think that I'm a role model in a sense, but they're the true role models.”

Creamer is no stranger to the Navy as her Father was a Navy captain who also piloted the P-3 Orion.  She and her Dad played golf together, and she used their shared experiences to encourage the kids to keep golf fun and learn valuable life principles along the way.

Following her visit to the U.S.S. George H.W. Bush, Creamer attended the second annual Dove® Real Beauty Women of the Military luncheon on Wednesday at the Kingsmill Championship presented by JTBC.  There she accepted the Dove® Real Beauty Women of the Military Award.

“To win that military award presented by Dove, I was in shock,” said Creamer.  “I thought that was just awesome, that’s the stuff you want to have happen to you.”

“Golf is my life, that’s what I do, but the military is my passion and to be honored with that, it’s pretty special,” she said of the award.

Creamer returned to action at the Kingsmill Championship after withdrawing from last week’s Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout by firing an opening-round 67.
