Inbee Park entered today's round one shot back of Sei Young Kim. She is in prime position to not only take home the trophy for the third year, but also retake the number one spot in the Rolex Women’s Golf Rankings, which she lost to Lydia Ko following the season opener. Park has continued to close the gap on Ko in recent weeks with seven top-10 finishes this season.
"Obviously I've done something three times before; I won three majors in a row before. I'm just trying to give myself the confidence that I can do it, do another three-time tomorrow. The way I've been playing, I've really been happy with ball-striking, and today was the best putting day yet."
