With just three events remaining before the CME Group Tour Championship, players are ready for a final push to improve their positions in the Race to the CME Globe rankings. The season long race awards points to players who finish in the top-40 and ties during each event. This week, six players in the current top-9 are in action and after 18 holes, Sei Young Kim is making the biggest statement. Kim is currently ranked fourth in the standings behind Lexi Thompson who is not in the field. Kim is currently tied for third at 2-under par and is projected to pass Thompson for fourth in the Race. The top-3 in the standings after the Lorena Ochoa Invitational will control their own destiny to win the $1 million bonus check at the CME Group Tour Championship.
