1998
Juli Inkster wins the Samsung World Championship of Women’s Golf for the second straight year. She captured the 17th win of her career by three strokes ahead of Annika Sorenstam. Inkster won the previous year in a playoff over Kelly Robbins and Helen Alfredsson.
2000
Karrie Webb defeated Dottie Pepper in a playoff to win the AFLAC Champions in 2000. Webb beat Pepper with a par on the first playoff hole for her seventh victory of the year. She went on to sweep the season ending awards including the Vare Trophy, Player of the Year, Achievement Award and topped the money list.
2006
Hee Won Han won the inaugural Honda LPGA Thailand by five strokes at 14-under par at Amata Spring Country Club. The victory was the second of the season for Han and the sixth of her career.
2008
Helen Alfredsson won the first event of the LPGA Tour played in China at the Grand China Air LPGA. The victory marked the seventh and final win by Alfredsson on Tour, which put her over the $5 million dollar mark in career earnings.
2010
Jimin Kang won the first playing of the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia in 2010, defeating Juli Inkster by one stroke to win at 9-under par during the 54-hole event. The victory marked the second of Kang’s career
