With the 2014 Epson Tour season scheduled to kick-off next week in Arizona, all eyes will focus on who can earn their LPGA Tour card through the Volvik Race for the Card. While there are multiple current Epson Tour members on the upcoming Big Break Florida, four of the cast members played a full season on the Road to the LPGA in 2013.
Jackie Stoelting
2013 was a memorable year for Jackie Stoelting, one that saw her get married and play in the U.S. Women’s Open. Stoelting is attempting to make new memories this year by winning Golf Channel’s Big Break Florida. After qualifying for the LPGA Tour, the 27-year-old became the first contestant in Big Break history to qualify for a major tour in between competing on the series and prior to the show’s airing.
Mary Narzisi
A member of the Epson Tour since 2012, Mary Narzisi’s outgoing personality will take center stage on this season’s Big Break Florida. On the 2013 Epson Tour, Narzisi played in 13 events, made six cuts and finished 93rd on the season-ending money list with $4,061.
Sadena Parks
University of Washington graduate Sadena Parks competed in her rookie season on the Epson Tour in 2013. One of the longest hitters on the Road to the LPGA, Parks finished sixth on Tour in average driving distance and posted a career-best T21 at the VisitMesa.com Gateway Classic.
Renee Skidmore
After recording four wins in collegiate competition while at the University of Idaho, Renee Skidmore made her way to the Epson Tour in 2009. In 2013, Skidmore competed in 14 events and recorded a season-best T25 at the Epson Classic. In addition to playing on the Road to the LPGA, Skidmore has notched two victories on the Suncoast Series.
