25 Players Featured in “See Why It’s Different Out Here” Spots
DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA, January 23, 2014 – LPGA Tour players are featured in the latest See Why It’s Different Out Here campaign spots debuting today during the first round of the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic on Golf Channel. The fourth edition of the LPGA’s annual ad campaign again highlights the unique personalities of the biggest stars in the women’s game. This year’s series also features a spot dedicated to the LPGA’s Teaching and Club Professionals. The spots will air during LPGA telecasts on Golf Channel throughout the 2014 season.

“The See Why It’s Different Out Here” campaign has been a great way to showcase the unique personalities of our players,” said Chief Marketing Officer Jon Podany. “We’re excited to continue this campaign into its fourth year with four new spots featuring 25 different players, reflecting the great diversity we have on our Tour. We’ve also produced a spot featuring our Teaching and Club Professionals with a little help from LPGA Tour star, Paula Creamer.”
Filmed at the 2013 CME Group Titleholders, the five spots include:
“Favorite Teams” – Showcasing favorite sports teams of LPGA Tour players; starring Sandra Gal, Lizette Salas, Anna Nordqvist, Azahara Munoz, Brittany Lang, Natalie Gulbis, Stacy Lewis, Lexi Thompson, Morgan Pressel and Rebecca Lee Bentham.
“Caddies” – Find out how LPGA Tour players choose their caddies; featuring Brittany Lincicome, Gerina Piller, Jodi Ewart-Shadoff and her caddie Myles Blackwelder, Morgan Pressel and her caddie “Rock”, Chella Choi and her caddie/father; Brittany Lang and her caddie/brother Luke and Nicole Castrale and her caddie/husband Craig.
“Languages” – Showcasing the many languages spoken on Tour; starring So Yeon Ryu, Anna Nordqvist, Caroline Hedwall, Beatriz Recari, Inbee Park and Suzann Pettersen.
“Young Stars” – A fan asks Cristie Kerr and Jessica Korda what they think of the rising young stars on the LPGA Tour; featuring Cristie Kerr, Jessica Korda, Jenny Shin, Lexi Thompson and Austin Ernst.
“Not Paula Creamer” – Featuring a wife who asks why her husband’s golf game has improved so much; starring Paula Creamer and LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Dana Rader.
“We’re excited to debut our first-ever national Teaching and Club Professional spot with a little help from the LPGA’s Pink Panther, Paula Creamer”, said Nancy Henderson, Executive Director of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professionals and President of the LPGA Foundation. “Many LPGA fans are not aware of our 1,500 teachers from across the country and this fun spot showcases that we teach both men and women.”
In addition to the LPGA’s Golf Channel telecasts, the spots will be featured through the LPGA’s international television partners, on LPGA.com, and via the LPGA’s social media channels, including YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.
