Top 3:
- Suzann Pettersen: She is the hottest golfers on Earth at the moment and strives to become No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Rankings. A win this week would go a long way toward achieving that goal and it would make for a final-week showdown for the Rolex LPGA Player of the Year. Who would have thought that was possible after Inbee Park won her third major championship in a row in June?
- I.K. Kim: Kim has good karma here. When she won in 2010, her last LPGA victory, she gave the entire $225,000 first-place check to charity. She has never finished worse than 12th in Guadalajara, has four top-10s (including the victory) and is a cumulative 46-under par.
- Paula Creamer: With three top-10s in five career starts, maybe it’s time for Creamer to break into the winner’s circle for the first time in three years.

- Lizette Salas: Both of her parents immigrated to California from Mexico and her father was a big inspiration for her taking up the sport. Her hero and mentor is Mexican-American World Golf Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez. So could there be a better place to win a first LPGA title?
