Another season has come to an end and with that LPGA.com caught up with several players to get their thoughts on their season, plans for the off-season and if they'll be putting down the clubs and truly take some time off. This week we check in with Jenny Shin to see what she has to say about 2012 and what she'll be doing to prepare for the 2013 season.
Describe your 2012 season using only one word?
Experience.
How would you compare this season to seasons in the past?
I have learned much more about myself and learned much about this game of golf.
What part of your game have you been the happiest with this season?
Putting.
How well did you meet the goals you set for yourself?
I've had some up and downs. I was very close to meeting my goal of winning. The good thing is now I've got an idea of what it takes!
You've been traveling off and on for about 10 months now, what are you most excited about at home?
Consistent weather and familiar food.
How will you spend your off-season?
Not touch my clubs for a couple of weeks. Enjoy my time in California and maybe go ride some roller coasters!
How long will you put down your clubs?
A couple of weeks.
Heading into the off-season do you have anything specific you want to work on with your game?
Little bit on my swing and work towards my mental game.
Will you have a specific exercise routine to stay fit prior to 2013?
My trainer.
