Clearwater, Fla. Jenny Gleason is no stranger to competing with the best female golfers in the world on the LPGA Tour. Gleason is a four-year member of the LPGA and with a seventh place finish on the season-ending Volvik Race for the Card standings, the University of North Carolina – Greensboro grad will be competing in her fifth season next year.
A seven year member of the Epson Tour, Gleason became accustomed to finding her way into the winner’s circle early in her career by winning back-to-back titles at the 2005 Lima Memorial Hospital FUTURES Classic and Michelob FUTURES Charity Golf Classic. Gleason earned her third-career victory at the 2012 Northeast Delta International in week eight to first break inside the top-10 at number nine.
Just as soon as she made her way inside the top-10, she slipped out the following week after missing the cut at the Credit Union Classic. Gleason did not reenter the Race until week 12 after a runner-up finish at the Eagle Classic catapulted her to number six.
Once Gleason returned inside the top-10 she never left and after a season that included four top-10 and six top-20 finishes.
Professional golfer is not Gleason’s only job titled as she also serves as Executive Directory for good friend and fellow LPGA member, Angela Stanford’s foundation. The Angela Stanford Foundation thrives on helping families that have been affected by cancer.
