Fourth-year LPGA Tour member Hee Young Park became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the inaugural CME Group Titleholders.
Park carded rounds of 71-69-69-70 to finish at 9-under 279 for a two-stroke victory over Paula Creamer and Sandra Gal, both finishing at 7-under 281.
Her win came at the LPGA’s season-ending tournament.
Park was No. 58 in the Rolex Rankings at the beginning of the week and will make a significant jump in the Rolex Rankings for Nov. 21.
2011 NOTES:
Prior to her win at the 2011 CME Group Titleholders, Park had posted two top-10 finishes in 2011, with a season-best third-place finish at the Safeway Classic presented by Coca-Cola.
With her win at the CME Group Titleholders, Park improved from No. 31 on the LPGA’s Official Money List to 12th with season earnings of $851,781 in 21 tournaments.

CAREER NOTES:
Before her win, her career-best LPGA finish was for second at the 2009 Honda LPGA Thailand tournament.
Her career-low round of 63 came at the 2010 LPGA State Farm Classic, where she finished fourth.
She crossed the $1 million mark in LPGA career earnings in 2009.
She finished third at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament in 2007 to earn exempt status for the 2008 LPGA season.
She competed on the Korean LPGA Tour in 2005 and 2006, winning three tournaments in 2005 and earning 2005 KLPGA Rookie of the Year honors.
She turned professional in 2004 after winning the Hite Cup on the KLPGA.
