DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., February 23, 2010 – The LPGA today announces that Prudential Financial will continue its presentation of the ‘Prudential Rock Solid Performance' feature in select LPGA event telecasts throughout 2010. The announcement comes on the heels of the LPGA's unveiling of the 2010 LPGA tournament broadcast schedule with exclusive cable partner, Golf Channel. Under the terms of the agreement, fourteen ‘Prudential Rock Solid Performance' in-telecast Sunday features will air.
The program, an integrated media package that includes in-telecast graphics and video features focusing on key tournament highlights and leaders during the weekend rounds, will be integrated on both GolfChannel.com, as well as LPGA.com, through a rotation of key placements on the home page, the marketing partners page, and the LPGA real-time scoring page. "Prudential is excited to continue our involvement with LPGA." said Colin McConnell, VP, Prudential Advertising. "LPGA players continue to impress with Rock Solid performances, and the Tour has been a committed partner in driving the success of this program." A ‘Prudential Rock Solid Performer' displays strength and competitiveness while maintaining her composure under pressure. During a designated Sunday telecast on Golf Channel, the Prudential program will focus on a summary of the day and highlights of the tournament winner. Following these select tournaments, the lead story on LPGA.com will feature the ‘Prudential Rock Solid Performer,' and a custom page on the website also will highlight the tournament champion's ‘Prudential Rock Solid Performance' that week.
