Food donations will benefit the Between Friends Food Pantry in Sugar Grove. |

* The PING Junior Solheim Cup is free and open to the public and will be held at Aurora Country Club on Tuesday and Wednesday of Solheim Cup week. The event features the 12 best American Juniors ages 13 – 18 led by Captain Nancy Lopez against the 12 best European Juniors led by Captain Carin Koch. PING Junior Solheim Cup Singles Matches tee off (Aurora Country Club) |
Past Captains Exhibition & Autograph Session Former U.S. and European Solheim Cup captains will be invited to participate and conduct an entertaining exhibition including stories from previous Solheim Cups and special memories from each Captain. An autograph session for fans will follow the presentation. Those U.S. captains expected to participate include: '90 Captain Kathy Whitworth, '92 Captain Alice Miller, '94 Captain JoAnne Carner, '96 & '98 Captain Judy Rankin, '00 Captain Pat Bradley, '02 & '03 Captain Patty Sheehan, '07 Captain Betsy King. Those European Captains expected to participate include: '90, '92, '94, '96 Captain Mickey Walker, '98 Captain Pia Nilsson and '00 & '02 Captain Dale Reid. |

Pro-Junior Four-Hole Challenge – Begins on #1 Tee Pro-Junior Four-Hole Challenge – The Pro-Junior Four-Hole Challenge will feature players from the U.S. and European PING Junior Solheim Cup teams and former U.S. and European Solheim Cup veterans in an alternate-shot competition featuring six twoperson teams, each consisting of a professional and junior. Two teams will be eliminated on the first hole with one team standing as the winner at the end of the four-hole challenge. Former Solheim Cup players scheduled to compete include: Nancy Lopez, Rosie Jones, Patty Sheehan and Carin Koch. |

Opening Ceremony – Main Stage, Rich Harvest Farms Opening Ceremony – Opening Ceremony will mark the official start of the 2009 Solheim Cup at Rich Harvest Farms. This event is free and open to all ticket purchasers. Opening Ceremony will feature introductions of both teams with comments from Captains Beth Daniel (USA) and Alison Nicholas (Europe), as well as the ceremonial raising of flags and national anthems sung of all countries represented by team members. The Friday morning Four-ball matches will also be announced with the event being carried live on the Golf Channel.
