Record purse for the Evian Masters

In the context of a favorable Euro/USD exchange rate and the development of women's golf worldwide, the Evian Masters Board (including Rolex, UBS, Lacoste and Evian) brought together by Franck Riboud, President and CEO of the Danone Group and the Evian Masters, has decided to raise the purse to 3 million USD effective in 2006.

“We are very proud to contribute to the development of international women's golf and its dynamics, marked this year by the launch of the Rolex World Rankings, which we have integrated into our criteria.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors for their long-term commitment to the Evian Masters and the Tours that support us,” declared Franck Riboud.

The significance of this purse confirms the event as a top international showcase.

About Evian
Evian and ladies' golf: a natural association
These two universes share the same fundamental values, a truly international dimension and a commitment to environmental preservation. In choosing women's golf, Evian illustrates the youthful spirit of an established brand that is looking to develop a new outlook on the sport, blending grace, performance, and femininity.

An exceptional effect on the Sponors' Village
As in years past; the Evian brand will be present with a stand on site, allowing for plenty of public interaction. The massages and services offered last year were met with major success...Definitely an experience to be renewed.

Outside of the tournament site, Evian will continue to ensure the media exposure of the event with an exclusive TV spot and a mention on the label of 1.5L bottles of Evian.

Evian and Sandrine Mendiburu: A shared vision of golf
Last year, Sandrine provided the perfect swing for the brand's TV spot. The humorous tone of the ad was well received by the general public and golf enthusiasts alike. It gave the game a breath of fresh air, rendering a sport often considered complex and elitist more accessible to everyone.
